Las Vegas recently became the backdrop for a controversial 43-foot statue of a naked Donald Trump, titled “Crooked and Obscene.” The striking installation, crafted from foam and reinforced with rebar, quickly drew mixed reactions from the public ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
The statue, which weighs six tons and features articulated arms, has been described by some as “disgusting and un-American,” while others find humor in its provocative nature. Comments from onlookers varied widely, with some deeming it an “insult to the office of the presidency,” and others suggesting that it’s simply art and that people should “lighten up.”
Those behind the statue aim to spark debate around the upcoming election, emphasizing its provocative message. Notably, Zak Bagans, the celebrity ghost hunter and owner of the Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, purchased one of the statues for $28,000, adding another layer of intrigue to this already polarizing piece of art.
