When someone decided to throw a cardboard box with a malnourished Pitbull puppy inside in the middle of an empty parking lot, they certainly didn’t think that they were being filmed on camera. But Shannon witnessed exactly what had happened. Not only had they heartlessly abandoned a small puppy, but the Pittie was famished and suffering.
But happily for the beautiful Pitbull pup, he was fortunate enough to be spotted by an animal-loving dog mom of three.
In the video, you can see a pickup truck pull-up and park. Suddenly, a man jumps out and snatches something out of the bed of the truck. It’s a cardboard box that he then ditches in the vacant parking lot.
Of course, Shannon had to go and see what was inside. When she glanced into the box, she was shocked to see a tiny Pitbull puppy that was in very dreadful shape. He was so unwell that it was evident he was in need of rapid medical assistance. The poor pup was so emaciated, you could see every one of his ribs, and he was losing enormous portions of his fur.
She quickly took him to the vet, and then carried him back to her house, where she set out to nurse him back to health. The first two days home, he was quite scared, but he was eating, and that was incredibly essential. It was such a positive indicator that he was willing to eat.
For his first several days, all he did was eat, do his business, and sleep. His behavior was evident a frantic attempt to assist his little body recuperate. But after he started feeling better, it was fairly evident that he was such a sweet little man.
After a week, he allowed Shannon and her sons snuggle him. And then around three, his personality started to peek through. They could see he was finally feeling safe and that he was happy.
More time passed and all of his fur grew back, soft and gorgeous. Additionally, he started to play with her other dogs. The pup was very lucky to not only live, but to find a forever home that was filled with so much love.
