General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that this has been an emotional week in the land of Port Charles. Sam McCalls (Kelly Monaco) passing rocked the little town, as the character breathed her last breath during the Wednesday, October 30 episode.
There have been some heartbreaking scenes from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Dante Falconerni (Dominic Zamprogna); however, GH fans noted something heart-wrenching during Jason Morgans (Steve Burton) goodbye scene to one of the greatest loves of his life.

GH spoilers note that Jason said goodbye to Sam during the October 31 episode of the show. It was a hard watch, to say the least, especially with the video montage that showcased the JaSam love story through the years.
It was clear that Jason found it difficult to look at Sam in this state, and wondered how this couldve happened. Stone Cold even gave Sam a kiss goodbye on the forehead before leaving the room.

Speaking of Stone Cold, one of the things that stood out for many GH fans was the fact that Jason began crying outside of Sams hospital room.
As long-time viewers know, it is a very rare occurrence to see Jason cry, and posts began flooding the social media platform, X, by fans as they watched the scene.
One X user, @CdnLadyKathy wrote, Its not too often you see Jason crying.

The buzz on X about Jason crying also got many GH fans emotional while watching the scenes.
Another X user, @TaurusMeme stated, I cant stop crying watching Jason cry! after a number of crying emojis.Still, it looks like more tears are in Jasons future, as Sams funeral should be coming down the pipe in the days and weeks ahead.
After all, Stone Cold continued to shed tears as he broke the news of Sams passing to her ren, Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
