Britney Spears has been connected to P. Diddy, but not for his notorious parties.
Her former business manager, Lou M. Taylor, founder of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, is said to have significantly influenced her 2008 conservatorship. Interestingly, Taylor also managed Diddy, as she revealed in 2019.
Their professional ties trace back to the early 90s, although it’s unclear if they still collaborate. Britney has previously criticized the services director, Robin Greenhill, from Tri Star.
In her 2023 autobiography, Britney referred to Robin as Lou’s “weird-a– lackey” and accused them, along with her father Jamie Spears, of bullying her.
Robin has recently been named in a lawsuit against Diddy. Allegations from 2021 claimed she had control over Britney’s credit cards and medication, and that Tri Star misused her funds to hire security during the conservatorship.
In 2024, Robin made headlines again when Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, alleging groping and potential drug-induced rape. This lawsuit came just weeks before authorities searched two of Diddy’s properties in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.
Lil Rod claims he was instructed to recruit sex workers for Diddy’s pleasure, asserting he has extensive video evidence of Diddy’s illegal activities. He alleges that Robin played a role in facilitating these incidents.
Tri Star has not been mentioned in the current indictment against Diddy, who faces sex trafficking charges and was denied bail. He is awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Following Diddy’s arrest, his attorney Marc Agnifilo expressed disappointment in the prosecution, asserting that Diddy is a music icon and philanthropist who has dedicated 30 years to building his career and supporting his community, though he acknowledges Diddy is not without flaws.
