Cindy Marina was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Albanian parents Ardian and Kristina Marina from Shkodër. Named after Cindy Crawford. Her father played collegiate football in Albania, and her mother played professional volleyball in Albania and Italy. Brother Brandon Cindy Marina.
The family moved from Chicago to Temecula, California, when Cindy Marina was seven. Great Oak High School, Temecula, graduated her in 2016. Cindy Marina started college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, but transferred to USC in Los Angeles for her sophomore year. Pi Beta Phi is her sorority.
Cindy Marina, Miss Universe Albania 2019, is an Albanian-American model and volleyball player. Albania competed in Miss Universe 2019. Cindy Marina plays volleyball for the USC Trojans and Albania.
2015
Young Cindy Marina played volleyball. She played club volleyball at Forza1 where her mom coached and set for her high school team. She was a California volleyball Gatorade Player of the Year nominee. Cindy Marina entered Duke Blue Devils volleyball after graduating high school and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
Cindy Marina left Duke to play volleyball for USC her sophomore year. In 2015, she joined Albania’s national volleyball team and guided it to a third-place Silver League result in the 2018 Wоmen’s European Volleyball League in Hungary. Cindy Marina, 17, was the youngest Albanian national team player.
2019
Cindy Marina modelled at 14. Cindy Marina’s mother’s friend Ema Savahl hired her to model her outfits. She debuted in Miss Universe Albania 2019. On June 7, 2019, she became the first American-born woman to win. She placed in the Top 20 at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
